With less than 2 months to go, we are again questioning the value of our training. Yes, we've hardly stopped long daily walks since our return from the Via de la Plata in late September, averaging easily 100 miles a month since November. But we have yet to venture out for twelve-milers with fully loaded packs. That's to come and, as we know from the past, no amount of training can prepare for the first two days, more or less, of the real thing. However we try to prepare, it's all about giving yourself up to the Camino and what it has in store for you.
